The activity which is implemented under the European Union Support to Democratic Governance (EUSDGN) Project, Component 4a intends to stimulate a sensitization campaign for the inclusion of women, youths and people with disabilities (PWDs) in electoral and broader governance processes in Nigeria.
The activity is a scale up to previous workshops on “Strengthening broadcast media platforms to sensitize the public on women, youths and PWD participation in the electoral process,” and will target the diversity of citizens in each section of the country. The campaign will run for several weeks on broadcast programmes. In addition to broadcasting on traditional media platforms, data generated from the conversations will be disseminated on new/social media platforms.
