Ajibola Tasks Journalists On Work Ethics

The former managing director of Daily Trust Newspapers, Mallam Isiaq Ajibola has cautioned journalists against compromising their work ethics urging them to always uphold their integrity.

He stated this while issuing certificates at the just concluded Investigative Journalism training for NYSC members and interns organised by Daily Trust Foundation and supported by MacArthur Foundation.

Ajibola said journalist must always standout and ensure the churn out investigative reports that are impactful.

“To be a good journalist you must maintain and uphold your integrity. You must always think of reports that will improve the situation of the society” he said.

He urged participants to guide against compromising their ethics by collecting brown envelops and urged media houses to always take care of their staff welfare to discourage such.
