Former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, and an Imo State Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant, Emeka Ihedioha, has urged the party faithful in the country to shun hate speech and jettison personal interest for the overall interest of the party in 2019.

He gave the assurance that he would work with his fellow governorship aspirants and run an all-inclusive government.

Ihedioha disclosed this while addressing party members at the Imo PDP sensitisation rally held on Monday at the Nkwo Ogwu Sports Centre, Nguru in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.

He said, “There will be no loser after our primaries as every contestant that participates in the race will adequately be carried along after the victory of the party at the polls. We will work as a team to lead the party to victory at all levels”.

He, however, commended the PDP State Chairman, Mr Charles Ezekwem, and members of his executives for the good job they had been doing for the party, just as he urged them to remain focused and committed to returning power back to the people in 2019.

In his comments at the rally, Ezekwem applauded Ihedioha and other leaders of the party in Aboh Mbaise for their contributions and support towards the growth, sustenance and development of the party in the area.
