The analysis conducted by MEiN in January 2024 unveiled that the prevalent motifs in the narratives were centered around assaults and governance, with an equal distribution of 50% for each theme. Government entities surfaced as the central figures, being spotlighted in half of the narratives, while the media appeared as the exclusive targets of these incidents. This underscores a troubling pattern of hostility toward the media and hurdles in regulation, underscoring the urgency to protect press freedom and tackle regulatory obstacles within the media sphere.
