To sensitise the Nigerian journalists and the general public on countering hate speeches, The Nigerian Press Council has concluded arrangement to organize a capacity building programme with the theme, Hate Communication in Nigeria: identifying its roots and remedies.
The workshop scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Abuja, according to the Director, Research and Documentation, NPC, Mrs Stella Jibrin is aimed at sensitizing participants on the need to counter hate communication, which has characterized the Nigerians political landscape in all channels of communication.
The Minister of Infromation and Culture, Aljahi Lai Mohammed is expected to present the keynote address that will set the tone for the workshop.
